i receive a list of prices from a seller of FS Oncore Chip, I just need to confirm with them that is going to work with the A780 (because according with service manual is a Motorola Chip that for my understanding is no longer manufactured by Motorola but it's the same that this company offer) if someone could clarify this, the help will be more than welcome

and second I need to confirm with a friend that we are going to be able to attach it to the board of course using a welding machine

then I Hope there will be no need of reprogram the phone since we are using the exact same soft as Swifty wich has gps enabled

It's sounds like a hard way :lol, but we might try

    opinions are more than welcome
    regards

I had gone down this path last year - but the dealer from Singapore was charging quite high (38 USD per FS Oncore chip) and also on the condition that Eval kit (500USD including support) must be purchased beforehand.

Maybe if we buy as a group it will be cheaper...

Below are the details of the dealer and attached is the datasheet:

well, theres some progress... MGMaps works with internal (and hopefully soon, external as well) GPS (link) as well as its possible to route messages from external GPS to copilot (link).
