Thread: EZX and OPIE simultaneously

  1. Default Re: EZX and OPIE simultaneously

    @cyph

    I hope you know that your stuff is popular. According to my hosts statistics, my mirror of your ezx-opie package has now had over 3000 hits, and pumped about 1.5 Gb data...

    If the 42MB version is the one I am thinking of you need to follow leprechaun's instructions to mount the cramfs and start the applications, but yes it should run on the e680; cyph's package handles this and provides the scripts for starting things up (if you aren't that familiar w/ linux I would strongly suggest cyph's package, it should be around 21 MB and as far as I know will run on e680 or e680i).

    @rhizod:
    Thanks for telling me that. Nice to know that more than 1.5gb/20mb = 75 people are using it.

    Just wondering, what do you guys use it for? And anyone working on other software based on this? I know that rpconnect is working on a Qt/X package.

    Hi all,

    i've got aprob that i can use Opie Player (1 & 2). These are eroor message for both situations :

    Oplayer1 : Opie player was terminated due to signal code SIGSEGV
    OMPlayer(2) : Could not locate application opieplayer2.

    What must i do now? Please advise me. thank you. BTW, is there any version that we can use full feature of Opie.

    @cyph : Thank for your great work. This make our E680 become a real PDA.

    if you use way described by leprechaun, you can choose yourself included apps, but cyphs package is already with his choices compiled.

    Oh, great with help on mirroring the package (But btw; there should still be plenty of bandwith left at my link at http://www.dewmill.com/linuxphone.html )

    If I get the figures right, over 230 people have downloaded the ezx-opie.zip... Good work cyph!
