I don't mind if it is just a little heavier and thicker IF they can squeeze in an optical zoom mechanism. AND they need a camera lens slide cover to protect the lens.
It definitely has to support A2DP and AVCRP (sp?). It doesn't need stereo loudspeakers - if I want that, I'll use the supplied stereo earbuds, or a bluetooth stereo headset, or plug in external stereo speakers.
And they need to provide at the very least a decent SDK to interested parties so that we can MOD the phone any way from here to there AS WE (the owner of the phone) WANT TO! And of course, it HAS to have Linux on it. No Micro$oft stuff!
I like the form factor of my Ming, however, there are times when a keyboard is nice, so take a lesson from Samsung (or even the Nokia N95) on slider styles.
