We do not have a rank system activated. We have brain stormed for a while before coming to this conclusion. Reason being:

Members might post unnecessary post, just to get their post more, and getting their ranks up.
Members who post more, might not know anything more than others who just came in.
Some members are already professional developers once they step in, so we do not like calling them junior members.

Actually I have lost the conversation about this, but this should be enough to explain why we do not have a ranking system in place, yet.

However, we want to group developers in a group. But we do not have enough manpower to do it, and we do not have any "test" to pass them off as developers. These are very subjective.

    What do you think?

i agree with admin on this one... i have seen seasoned users being called newbies and other undeserving ones (including me) called senior members
bout the developers group, id suggest u appoint blackhawk as one straightaway...eakrin and donga are 2 others that would definitely be bracketed in that group...i havnt really seen other developers as i rarely frequent the other forums in this place other than the e6 and a1200 ones

We can ask developers to appoint new developers.. e.g.: blackhawk, donga etc.. can be picked up directly.. as we have seen enough of their work already to validate them.. and now they can nominate others as developers in turn..
