Thank you for your report.
Very surprise my solution for A1200 work perfects! And no need to change my scripts at all. But believe me, I have no A1200
1. Sound output only on phone speaker. Maybe someone here will help me since exmms source available.
2. Have no input methode, you can't save playlist. Input methode available only when I can subclassing ZApplication. Please wait and pray
3. Green space on top is GNB button space on exmms native version E680/E680i/E680g/A780. Maybe I will fix it but don't want to break existing skin.
4. The minimize button not work because I have disabled it. I will enable it again using different methode.
5. Run exmms.lin scripts from file manager. To send exmms to background, close A1200 flip. Music still playing on background. Open your flip again and you can do another task. To back showing exmms, run exmms.lin script again. That's it! Better interaction with Motorola UI.
Amazing, it's work!

I had adjusted permissions too and it had worked on the E6, sorry for the delay in replying. Since CLOVIS had a version of exmms also, if we could get the source, maybe we can alter yours to have earphone support. Is it a case of improper libraries?
I used some of Clovis's libraries for exmms and music in the earphone plays for a second and then stops. I wonder why? The song sops compleely and if I resume then its playing in the speaker again
Yes, it is extremely important to have the earphone capability. It is a must to be a Mp3 Player nowadays.
If you could also include the Bluetooth stream option, it will be the best player available. Even better than native Real Player. (which is very obsolet).
Keep up the work. Excellent Job. Congratulations.

xmms binary from CLOVIS compiled by me for E680i/A780 device before xmms source available. CLOVIS trying to make java front end for it. So, it's older than xmms I have uploaded here.
Look like A1200/E6 have different ioctl than E680i/A780. Bass booster and 3d audio exists only on E680i and E680 (not i).

Any suggestions on how we can get this to work thorugh earphones, I think the problem is with stereo output. I do not know much of cross compiling and altering libs/binaries to be able to work on this.
CLOVIS released xmms2, which I dont think was java, but a QT front end, but it only played music no eq and no playlist.
