    let´s see what comes out.
(but i don´t think that money is the motivation for most dev´s here)

    btw. for the mp3player:
there is a post from bragon in this thread asking for the source
    of eXmms.
may i tell you what he will do with this

Why you don't release an alpha (not Alpha43 ) version? There will be a lot of people that will test it

Since always failed to upload any file here, please download this package first:

    http://rapidshare.com/files/51398375...a1200.zip.html

and then read http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1148 for the concept.

I have no A1200 device but by using A1200 library on my E680i, I can run dedraks's canvas and showQ with success (event showQ failed to load A1200 theme). Following cyph's concept, I try to build opieproxy and opieproxycommand but raise seg. faults on device. Base on dedraks work (DApplication.h), idea from serverclient2004 and of course opieproxy source from cyph finally my qtproxy working on my device using A1200 library. Please try my helloworld application on true A1200 device and make all modification needed by my scripts to make it run on A1200. Copy extracted qtproxy-exmms-a1200.zip to your MMC and over telnet or eKonsole, issue:

    Code:
    cd /mmc/mmca1/qtproxy
    ./hello.lin
If my helloworld dancing and receive events on A1200, it's time to try the big bonus... exmms!

    Good luck!

    Note:
My package contain qte-2.3.10 library with thread support (libqte-mt.so.2) with mkezx patch (including 18bpp patch) and opieproxy patch from cyph.
    eXMMS and Rockbox running on E680, E680i, E680g, A780, A1200 and ROKR E6

a few observations (in the first 10 minutes of trying it out)

1* Sound only through phone speakers so cant use earphones

    1 Equalizer works

    2 Green bar on top

3 Cant save playlists (not able to type anything)

4 i closed my flip and the player disappeared and i had to run the lin agaon to get it back (though the song was playing)

5 have to run ths script to get it to play everytime (i suppose that is because its just to test it )

    6 Cant minimize the player

i still cant believe that its actually working..

now only if we can get rockbox

    edit : tried with earphones
