Default 2 Player Pong Game! [Bounty $6.50]

    Programmer: NIL

    Bounty From Members: $5.00
    Bounty From MotorolaFans: $1.50
    Donator List
    Freddie (Admin): $5.00

    Project Description:
I think it would be a great idea if someone with programming experience could make a 2 player Pong game for the e680i where the 1st can use the call and hang button for left and right while the 2nd player uses the real and radio button. I don't know it's just an idea cause I think it would be pretty cool to have two people playing a game on one phone. If I knew what I was doing with a computer, I would do it myself but I don't so...

If you are interested, could you please post a reply "bump" to show your support of the idea! Or better yet if you are a programmer, you can just make the game!

This game would be able to fix global warming, end world hunger, and create world peace. This game can also help guys hook up with girls.

Okay, I'll donate $5. Any programmer up for it?
    My favorite Motorola development site!

Is it possible to get the event of 2 Buttons pressed at the same time?
If not it would not be really playable, cause one player could block the other players move.

It isn't really possible to write it in Java on an A780.
I tested with keys pressed together. The Jogdial always wins
So it would only be possible to play it if the two players would commit to only use keys when ball is flying towards them.

You can find the MIDlet for testing on my page:
    http://www.penguinpower.de/ator/index.htm
If you would like to test it at a E680 you can do it. If you think it works better there the game would be possible in Java.
Test holding down some buttons and pressing another. If the values change it's OK.

It will work if you write a native app that uses SDL. I already released a 2 player BlockRage game that works quite well for the A780. Working on this now

um, two players on one phone?

anyway, I can't recall the link but I remember visiting a site that
had a photo of two guys playing 3d pong on their (nokia?) cells connected
with bluetooth and using their cameras as paddles (!)
I believe it the app was java based

too bad I don't know of any bluetooth apis
