2. Android has native support for OpenGL. All applications are in Java form, but if you mean J2ME there are some emulators that can run such things.
3. Currently Android market has around 15 000 applications. Most of them are free. Open source community thrives here...

5. I personally own HTC Hero and by my standards it's still the best Android phone out there. Soon Acer Liquid and Motorola Dext should come out. I still think HTSs SenseUI is far better than normal Android interface but that's a matter of preference. G1 would be the cheapest![]()
