dual boot on a1200??

Is there a possibility of installing dual OS i.e., Monta Vista Linux the original OS of A1200 and the android together using some Grub loader or swap boot on the A1200??

not possible becoz the internal memory of phone itselfs is hardly 50MB where 42MB used for OS montavista and 8MB remaining given for user phone memory

it's a second bootloader, that is injected before the kernel, in the same place the kernel was and move the original kernel a few bytes after, and that do the trick you see here, it reads a menu.lst as grub do on most linux computers.

btw, now A910 is also supported by gen-blob for a dualboot. you can contact me if you want it on your a910.

ps: you can follow http://wiki.openezx.org/Dual_boot to install the same dual boot, but don't try to "inject" genblob by yourself if you are not very confident... An application to do that in a safe way will coming soon.

It's working, but a tool is in project to do the patch easily.
As soon as it will be released you can be sure i'll do the announce in devellopment forum, and perhaps duplicates posts on modding forum
