Porting Andoid on A1200 MING

Right now I am gonna stop working till tomorrow atleast because I am exhausted... but please if u can let me know how I can solve the issue of patching android patches to kernel 2.6.32 (I am downloading the src now) without getting the extra operand error... I use patch p2 <../ ***.patch in linux-2.6.** folder where all android patches are placed. BTW, i have already patches all the Openezx patches with quilt so this is the last step....
I also get a fatal error in making modules-1200.... error2... if u need i will give u full log

I think someone should just post a working and matching zImage and RootFS for android here rather than everyone compiling different version.... That way we can have a stable beta release for gen-blob usage atleast on SD

It seems like I was finally able to patch the linux mainline 2.6.24 with Android patchset
Instead of using patch p2 <../ ***.patch I used this command cat android-patches/* | patch -p2 but i put all android patches inside android-patches folder....

Now the problem of extra operand is solved and at the moment I am compiling zImage

I hope this helps those who have the same problem

ok I successfully ported android kernel and rootfs but!!!!! I cannot connect with USB device at usb0... even though in the kernel boot log it shows IP-config completed successfully... network does not show under ubuntu at all but plugging and unplugging the usb cable shows connected and disconnected logs on phone....
The ANDROID text is also shows properly and most of the inits are loaded but the interface does not load because i cannot point command to init.rc!!!
any suggestions or tips? can i modify the init kernel boot parameter so that it loads init as well as init.rc??

by boot usb u mean NFS?
I have made the root file system on my 2nd partition on SD card with init file path as /sbin/init (default for linux kernel)

but as i said the init loads completely without much errors (some stuff are ignored and skipped because the files are not there in the /system/bin folder of android root FS but otherwise ANDROID should be ready to jump into gui mode but i just need to send the command /etc/init.rc which I cannot because i do not have keyboard access to the console that shows up and i cannot telnet because the ports are still close (both ssh-22 and telnet-23)

anyone has any solution?
