Porting Andoid on A1200 MING

I have patched my time.h file and yet I do not see any problem
i wanted to know any successful porting ever here ?

every thing seems fine...
the boot log from kernel comes up and goes
it is finished by the panic that there is no init console
now in tuto it says telnet to 192.168.1.2 but this waits and waits and nothing happens .... and without telneting no desktop will ever rise...
any possible help for telneting into my a1200 ?
I have an ubuntu 9.04 !

No, if kernel paniced , it's not the solution, you'll not be able to telnet or ssh...
It's probably your network.
Try setting up the nfs-root properly. (according to your kernel config Ip param in config, command line, etc...)

btw, read pages around 6-8 biggerstone had probs with usb, and finally i think he did the riht thing on his ubuntu box... He used openezx wiki link and http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/USB_Networking ...

my sd card has 2 partitions one fat32 and second ext2 !

So you try to use a rootfs on SD?
You need to change .config :
On line "CONFIG_CMDLINE=" change root= to "root=/dev/mmcblk0p2" if you want . and unpack ( as ROOT or SUDOING) the android rootfs on the second partition, of the SD. ("blk0p2"), this partition need to be created and formated freshly, and properly, with fdisk, i.e. following Getting started openezx wiki page.

the problems after "freeing init memory" remains to android, initrd... sorry, i don't know what's happening.
So... try reformatting, to se if it help?

it is a long time you are talking about CMD_LINE but i do not know where to find this line.
there was one in def-config before compilation
there is one in the same file in patches/defconfig-a1200 in the file system tree.
which file do you mean man ?

i mean the one you used or will use to compile!
in the .config file placed in the root of the kernel tree , supposedly before the compilation
I don't know if your kernel will support passing another argument on bootusb command (i think no) so the only command line is in the kernel config, the one of androidd-ezx wants to use a nfsroot, if you change the root= to the thing i told you beofre, it will work with android on our sd.

Well, its kind of obvious.
The kernel paniced because /bin/init was not found on your rootfs.
