Looks about the same size, little thicker though.
The S9 has a built in audio amplifier(what the E6 should have had in the first place) so its louder than the wired headsets. Almost double the original volume.
S9 is waaaay better than the HTS when it comes to durability....

I’ve already written above who this model is targeted at, now let’s think together: is the S9 worth buying? The headset will retail for about 100 USD. Listing out the rivals, there are the Jabra BT620S (with longer battery life and better speech transfer quality, but bulkier ear buds), the Nokia BH-501, the BH-601 (everything is like in Jabra, except the speech transfer quality) and the Sony DR-BT21G (the same plus interesting design and average voice transfer quality). Generally speaking, the S9 is not as bulky as its competitors are, provides comparable and even better music playback experience, and, moreover, it is water-proof. The price is pretty much adequate, especially compared to some of its competitors.

hey...
i need to know how is the call receiving function on the S9 ??
can u hear the other person talkin through both your ears ?? or is it just one-sided??
and hws d mic quality??
thx
You'll hear the other person only in your left ear. Which i'd say is pretty normal cos so far i've only seen wired headsets which offer stereo calls.
The call quality is decent, but most people i've spoken to say that my voice is not so clear. It's good if i'm talkin in a quiet environment, but it just abt picks up every sund in a noisy place.
That apart, the controls work perfectly with my Ming. Even voice dial feature wrks well.
What i'd like to know is can someone confirm whether it's really water proof? I haven't read that anywhere except here.

Try the Zeus skin. It's realy cool.
It's a sports accessory. It's waterproof - but not enough to survive a drop into a bucket of water or a dip in the pool.
Its Water resistantnot proof, no electronic item is water proof as far as I know, just water resistant to varying extents. Having used both the headsets I'd definately go for the S9 since its more portable and easier to carry around with really good sound quality. THe E6 with the S9 almost sound as good as my Samsung U600 which has a Bang and Olufsen amplifier for music playback
i hope its sound resistant is at least enough for me to walk in d rains...
and abt d mono call receiving.. can we change the side from which we want to hear the other person's voice?? i'm kinda def on my left ear like Julius Caesar...![]()
All things said, S9 definitely has connection issues. The music skips when I'm moving. Although it does not happen very frequently, it is still mildly irritating. And seems to happen a lot more when I'm on the bike.
And the stock ear plugs are a pain in the ear. I changed them to the mushroom shaped ones that came with the set. Much more comfortable, and seems to sound better too.
