Good question...
Maybe motodev.com can have some docs about this kind of things, but i'm not aware of any programs doing this on an ezx phone.

I'll try to search... (if you don't care about alarms, and so...maybe just use an offline explorer?)

As for calendar sync, perhaps syncml on linux has everything to sync correctly this, take a look at how to sync google cal with outlook then you can sync with motorola phone tools...
I would also search for two "conversion" scripts, that could be run on the phone, from google to a text file, from the text file to the calendar...

Search for linux sync calendar motorolafans.com in google, i'm sure there are a lot of linux sync solutions. I just never used one

Good idea. I use the Google Calendar a lot due to my G1, and it would be nice to have it on the A910 in sync, too. Unfortunately I don´t have the time to really dig into that, but if I have an idea, i´ll tell you.
