I finally tried to flash the Barbados unit using the R57_G_10.08.07R and R58_improve_V5 taken from this thread in the forum, but without success. I'm now triing to restore the original fw. Any suggestion where to find a proper E895 fw?

Alas, No, nobody posted links here, afaik...
But you have the backup?
Try to restore it with bootusb!
- crossing fingers -
btw, while bootusb usally don't reflash the sensibles areas, rsd will do so...
So if there are still parts bootusb refuse to reflash, we could build a special version for reflashing your A--Z backup... ( could be necessary? As i said, i never faced this limit dialog/ warning, security, etc feature of bootusb! I always bricked another way!!:) )

Hi!
Got some news?
Did you tried restoring the phone yet?
Cheers.
I tried to restore it from the backup done using boot:_usb. I restored the 64MB file (skipping the boot loader, so the first 640K of the file). At the end of the process there was a flash error message on the display of the phone, that does not want to load the os. The boot loader is stil accessible, but now writes also a "flash error" message.
I used the boot_usb version you suggested to do the dump of the fw. So, some suggestions are needed.
Ok, yes... But well it's a big file, shit happens...
I suppose the backup is good, as you didn't had such error message.
btw, bootusb reflashed the whole area? I mean, did it warn you about erasing and rewriting the bootloader, etc?
Remember the genuine bootusb won't reflash critical areas...
i would try again! I hope you will not have an error this time.
I know this error message, i usually retry again and it worked always the second time here :d
Good luck!
