Is the E895 the same a a910 ?

Why can´t you use the phone? Is it kind of defected?

Just to describe entering the bootloader menu again (the way it is done on A910): press the key on the right side of the phone and keep it pressed while you start the phone up.

And it would be really nice (if you can do that, as you need to have a microSD-card for that, and if your phone works "enough" to do so) if you could read out the AP firmware of an E895. If you need further instructions, please ask (i´ll quote old explanations for that just below)!

phone will not enter bootloader via this combination sorry i dont have a card any way so it wouldnt matter its not defective just not my kinda phone it doesnt operate like other motorolas

Yes, you should be able to enter the flashing mode...
The thing is you have to only push the VoiceRecognition button (right side) and not release it until you press the red key (power on).
Only those 2 buttons must be pressed, it don't work if you press accidentally another button (those on the left side for ex. ).

If you have a linux machine or if you know how to boot from a live CD, you can backup the firmware without Sd with some other tools, let me know what's happen...

In all cases, you have to be able to enter bootloader (red screen).

yeah ts not happening i have tried voice dial power smart button power and volume power camera power all combination atleast 5 times each not happening sorry

Well, perhaps try the keys just under the screen (left and right "menu functions" with same combo/usage as VReco + power) ...
It cannot hurt...

meant to throw that in there sorry tried that and the nextel way to *# power and lsk rsk power there is something odd about this phone though i mean everything and i mean everything is operated by those soft keys i cant even go back with the back button has to be back with the soft key

Usually, I don't say that, but there... I would search for a "FULL SHX" flash.
The thing is you need the red bootloader to flash anything, lol.
Serioulsy you may need to reflash, with a more or less complete sbf...
I believe these bug are known in some other phones sub-forum...
Search for that...in motofans.And ask for that in some E2
(just because your phone and e2 are much more popular in china,
another shared particularity , but maybe the motofans a1200 or e6
sub-forums are also aware of such cases ) forum here or in
another site... (e2mod.com...)
I will ask if vkin's firmware cannot be used.
A last chance is the testpoint software/hardware solution...

all buttons work its just in certain situations when another phones back button takes you back a page this phone doesnt the back button does work just not for that function it backspaces lol i have it posted in the mx info xchange but yeah if you hear anything let me know doesnt look like its going anywhere

Maybe this firmware use only Clear key for this function... I suppose power button can close apps ? Maybe it close some windows sometimes, of course it's annoying if you don't want to totally quit an app? That can work like this...
I suppose i'll have some response on it168, i already have one but it's not clear...
But they give the name of e895 with some R57 (a910) firmware, so, already promising, i believe.

ok and thank you for your help on this one yes the end key does work in some instances but back key no soft key back always lol also heads up phone has been posted in the sale forum not sure where it will go as i have know idea what this phone is worth
