    Arrow A910 firmware

    Hello, I wanted to create a place to share A910 ORIGINALS firmwares files.

    This files are here for modders or for the warranty, in case you have already flashed to igeekmod and need to go to service center.
    R58 (from a french operator, "neuf") track is only working with A910i. I never tested such fw on A910.
    This fw is locked on french SFR/neuf networks but wifi and sip should work as normal.
    R57 (from BT UK operator, untested on too) should work on A910.I don't see the interest to flash it on A910i. Have a locked wifi and perhaps a network lock too...

    These fw come in kind of full sbf files, so you must know what you are doing... This is dangerous to flash the BP and/or Bootloader because they are signed CGs... And if something bug, your phone will be near from dead!

    So you should never have to use theses files unless you want to mod from an original firmware OR for warranty purpose.

    ===============================Neuf Branded R58====
    Neuf A910i fimware (risky for A910 user AND locked to one french network) You see p3t3r , finally, I could put my hands on it :
    R58_G_10.01.378P_GSZA910INEUFFR022_PDS002_LP0039A_GSZA910IIPTVNF01_S066_E002_R002_G004_Service1FF.sbf.gz

    ===============================BT UK Branded R57===
    BT UK A910 firmware (locked wifi and perhaps network lock):
    R57_G_10.08.07R_GSMA910BTUK042_LP0039E_GSZA910BTUK0_S077_E006_R001_G004_1FF.sbf.gz

    Remember if you want an modded, unlocked firmware with more fun features, you should go to the igeekmod thread and download the last release.

    Here is SSH and ezxterm (terminal emulator) for a910 i wrote the tutorial, but have no fear.
    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...nal-phone.html

    Perhaps I'll release some AP only fw, a lot safer to test. but devellopment tests, are a hard!!
    (use desbf/ezxcodec if you want to do that by yourself)

    BT firmware infos (orange and neuf are coming next days...) on the attached archive.

    Note, that I've put some datas on /ezxlocal that are not here on fresh flashing...

    Vkin: I don't know... UMA it's just another standart it's not as locked as we say, iirc the a910i is said unlocked because it use IMS ? instead , this make it "more" standart and sip compatible...
    I need to investigate more on the a910i...I'll keep you informed

    if you try neuf's firmware, your phone will be network-locked to neuf's networks
    ... you'll have to unlock it or to mod the fw first.(i plan to do that...)

    About how to unlock network, I think you can try to use RadioComm software.

    Do not know whether you try?

    I am a complete newcomer to moding mobile phones. I have just got my unlocked a910 which was a bt version. I have downloaded the mpt program and can transfer files to and from the phone but how do i flash the new program so that the wifi becomes unlocked from bt? If someone can supply an idiots guide from start to finnish i would be forever thankfull. Is there some way to backup the original setup so that if things don't go according to plan i can just reload my original setup? I am sure there are many others like me who have no idea how you do these things.....

    Many thanks in advance for you help

    @ teckybloke :
    You should read the very well done "guide to flashing" for the a1200, everything should apply for a910 too... except the firmware files are not the same.
    =====>http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...our-a1200.html by Alpha43
    The big part of this site is dedicated to A1200, E6, A780 and E680, so we have to read some infos from there and adapt to our (very similar) A910 phones

    Please write some tutos here in the A910, if you feel necessary, too...

    My goal is to ease the use of A910 for the everyday use, but I didn't manage to do some firmware or mpkg apps (you can already install some mpkg apps made for E2 phones ). So maybe wait a little...and some goodies will come.

    For unlocked wifi, you may have notice the link to p3t3r's firmware, just go, download it and flash it!
    (this is at your own risk, of course, please follow the tutorials, don't disconnect without waiting for long time for the flashing is done, don't trust too much rsd lite messages, try to follow instruction 1 to 1...
    Also the most important should be to have a fully charged battery.

    The firmwares in top of this page are not designed for you, this thread explain everything :
    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...-via-wifi.html

    Backup is not necessary as you see there is now some original unmodded firmware online
    You may have to search by yourself, (I use the openezx way, so it's really delicate actually to make an simple guide), I've heard about cyph's flashkit , command line (linux tool dd > "dd if=/dev/mtdX of=/mmc/mmca1/mtdx" see post #2 from me...) also can be your solution, I can't see other ways, they may be too hard/dangerous for a linux beginner...plus I repeat:backup is not necessary, I believe, in your case!

    @vkin :
    I'll take a look at this neuf branded fw and mod the /exzlocal/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_system.cfg to zeroing MasterSecurityCode and MasterUnlockCode, we will see if it suffice (source http://www.mobilelinuxfans.com/doku...._security_code)

    Hi sabrod,

    Many thanks for the info. Have had a look AND HAVE TO SAY IT LOOKS ALL A BIT TOO DAUNTING for me to to try!!! I dont want to end up with a brick all for the sake of trying to open the wifi..

    Maybe one day i will be brave enough to try. I will have to re read through all the info and see if it makes more sense, Many thanks again and good luck with your own modding...
    Cheers
    Andy
