Hum, seriously I neither personnaly have A910 schematics nor debug-enabled AP softwares to log your phone's "sufferings"... exept perhaps some dmesg or similar things in root terminal, let try and tell me the result if you want to compare.

You know, all I learnt about moto phones come from my A1200, because this one is very well documented and there is "plenty" of experts on it (especially here... )

I just can't tell you where to look...BP? AP? sorry.

And for the moment OpenEzx support for A910 is at very early stage IMHO, to trying such a task. -At least you'll have the glory of being the first!-

You can observe E2 forums here (you can try E2 toolchain to put some of your apps on the firmware), and at e2mod.com as A910 share a lot with this phone, but I don't know if it will help for that particular problem.

I would wait for a better openezx support or a good ( a b3tt3r one?) advise on your prob. before searching in the dark.
    Thanks for your reply.

I made a mistake before flashing my phone to igeekmod. I wasn't able to get a backup of the original firmware. Do you know where I might be able to find one? I'd like to try that before other options. Also that might indicate that the problem truly lies in the battery. I did purchase this phone via ebay (us) and it's a used phone. The battery might be 'done'.

It's a very nice phone. I like it alot.

Talk to you soon. again, thanks for your help. 5c0tt

Good news. I flashed the phone back to original firmware (Don't recall where I found it). Everything is back to normal. I was able to recharge the battery, No more "Invalid battery" msg. Battery went to full charge last night gave msg "Charge completed". Again as original, WIFI won't connect to access point.

So we can now assume that the battery is good. Phone appears to be in working order.

I would like to try the flashing again. Any suggestions or direction on how I should go about this? Should I try 0423 first then up to 0814 or just go for 0814?

    Thanks Scott

    Nice.

I would ask you to reproduce the configuration that "bricked" your phone, but you'll perhaps not be agree.

I 'm used to flash in winXP with :
    Motorola usb driver (win-32bit) v2.9.0.msi
    RSD_LITE_3_4.msi
I downloaded both files here, and always have good results...

Anyway, please keep us up to date.

It could help igeekmod (especially if this don't work, lol).

    I can do that.

I used Vista - latest usb driver from motorola, rsdlite 3.4 and 0814.

What I'll do is configure an XP Machine, load all the software and try to flash it again to see the results. As soon as I have done that I'll post the results.
