I suppose the guide lacks the famous " last step to make rsd lite happy"
It should be something like :
    Remove the battery
put the battery again while using the "flash mode combo"
Read on the screen that rsd is happy
    unplug the phone
    reboot the phone
    enjoy the fw!

for the speedness, well, i dunno, it seems the chinese team are talentuous hackers, you should maybe test that ( please use jbenchmark, attached, to compare with us)

Hello sabrod, when I started the file which you attached and when it finished the test showed this: JBenchmark 6372

    Details:
    Text:1625
    2d Shapes: 1696
    3d Shapes: 924
    Fill Rate: 548
    Animation: 1579
    ...
    Total Memory: 1048576
    Free memory: 497940
.... I think the other details are not important. How do you think is it work good, and is there a firmware which work fastest? Do someone know from where can I buy outside display for a910 because mine is broken . I can't find in ebay... I realy like this phone and I think i will use it

Well, i don't know... The fastest fw i benchmarked was neuf's (R5 and obtain 6158 freshly flashed...
So don't change anything, i would say you have a very fast a910!

Well the jbenchmark site can show you the perfs of a others phones.

    Hi,
Reading that : http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...ully-wifi.html should work for internet.

For faster fw, i dunno, maybe the chinese mod will suit you better?
You can maybe use opera mini , download it from opera mini 's website http://www.operamini.com .It will be faster... Try to see if you can reduce the number of programs running, but to solve the problem, you will have to mod the fw by yourself...

    Hi guys,

This is my first post, I got A910 just about now as my "emergency" phone and I'd like to know what is the difference between two firmware posted on this site. The first one is

    A910_R57_G_10.08.07R_V12 by keta122

and the second famous and popular

    igeekmod-r2-1-081123.sbf

The second this, this igeek R2 has unfortunately expired on rapid or whatever he was, that was a long time ago so could someone be so nice to put it again maybe?

And I hope you get me, I'm not an english speaker day by day

Igeek is lighter in term of apps, and tweaks. The chinese fw doesn't seems to suffer from this "enlargment/enhancements/tweaks" as i remember p3t3r told that keta's fw passed better the java benchmark tests than igeekr2, ( may not be truth for R1? ) but i would say the better is to try it, before making a choice!

The funny thing is that keta's at the beginning is based on igeekmod, and then igeekmod R2 is based on this chinese mod, so it differs a lot from R1... (it is mostly a matter of language packs added/suppressed...).
Here i found the igeekmod you wanted: RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace
Say developer, but it's so hard!

    Please upload one of these:

    -igeekmod r1
    -igeekmod r2
    -keta122's firmware

    I would be very grateful.

    I will do this soon.
And i read you got a t-mobile A910, i have to say, i would be interested in any dump (fw in flash and flex in BP i can help you to setup a pc to backup this) from your phone.
it would be to understand some stuffs, maybe into between the flex and the fw.

I can't dump fw because I don't have it anymore. I have tried to flash keta122 firmwares (R57 & R58 if I remember) and now the only thing I have is bootloader with "BATT TRICKLE CHRG DISABLED" and there is no way to make my A910 work. I have treid to flash some firmwares, but none of them flashed correctly. If you can help me then please do so.
