Got both samba and telnet to work now and I can access the filesystem so I can do some real damage <lol>. Anyway, my next hope (and I started a thread on this) is to figure out how to get new themes onto the A910. I've looked through a lot of directories and at the moment cannot even find the default Moto theme location.
Anyway, now we have our own A910 section hope things will take off. I think this is a great phone for the price. I like the Wifi ofcourse, but I also like the large outer screen (certainly larget than my other V3i, V3x). I also like the fact that when a text message came in I was actually able to read it on the outer screen (and scroll, reply, delete etc..), all without having to open the phone.

    @ motorolafans team / swifty:

    That's great, thanks a lot!

@spock: 100% agree, it is a great phone for the price - I ordered a 3rd one yesterday ("brand new" for ~50 € is really ok). As soon as I have it I will definitely go on with firmware development - there are some things to fix and some features to add.

hi, well the one that is in it is a BT60 and I just tried a BT50 (from an old Moto V360) and that works also. Most mobile batteries nowadays are 3.7V and as long as the maH is within the spec (or higher) than original and it fits, then it should be find. Also note these batteries have 4tag connection and I once took one apart and there is actually a small circuit board inside.

Hi there, A910 section keeps growing. I just received my phone from UK. It's BT branded (I don't like any branding) and i'll try to flash p3t3r's igeekmod fw as soon as I'll find the time

    Hi mischka,
great to see another german A910 user! If you can wait a little bit, I think (after testing it) you can try my current (and last) igeekmod R1 release (which should fix a little bug) - or that repackaged vkin firmware I just announced. Depends on what you want

igeekmod R2 will take some time, as I won't be able to work on it the next two weeks.

I don´t think so, as SDHC isn´t supported on the other EZX Gen 2 phones. It might be supported when we`ll have a working 2.6 kernel.

Thanks p3t3r. So which is the kind of memory with highest capacity that it supports? Thanks
