A780 Newbie

Hello guys,

I own a A780 in Guatemala Central America, bought my phone thru e-bay and it was a china model because of some odd software it came with. I'm a newbie here and I wanted to know if somebody can point me out into a newbie step by step instructions on what do to, how to do it and upgrades that are recommended.

thanks a lot swifty, I have read the guides already and the detailed guide is for the E680 no the A780 and most of the links don't work.

some links are very old
you have to change rcsc.sisrs.com/mfc to motorlafans in the link.
the E680 is mostly the same as A780. some softwarepacks (CGs) are different and the hardware is of course different. but most things are the same.

I'm a new A780 user too and find very limited information (guidelines/apps/games). Guess I'll have to spend some time to get used to using a Linux phone.

I have found some java games which is supposed to be compatible to E680 and A780. Anyone knows which button on the A780 is to replace the left and right button on E680 (with the flip open, the touchscreen don't work in the game and there is a selection on left and right which no matter what I press, don't seem to work).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
