Support the microsd slot at the a780 sdio cards?
I would like to build a microsd-to-minisd adapter to make wlan for the A780 available. Any idea if this adapter can work by the hardware? There are minisd wlan cards i would like use with the a780 and the kernel 2.6. I don't know any mobilephone with linux, wlan and gprs, so i have no possibility.

Who would know that? No one ever tried to do that. Theoretically microSD cards are electrically compatible with mini and full SD cards (actually it has one less pin than SD card, because it has no write lock), so it would be possible to build microSDIO cards. I think that it is also possible to build adapter, which would allow to use full SD cards with microSD card slot (it has been already done with Motorola v360 and this phone can successfully use large capacity SD cards - up to 4GB which is the largest SD card available now).
AFAIK PXA270 processor has sdio capabilities. It is unknown if the kernel was stripped out of this functionality. And there would be a problem with device drivers even if the kernel itself detects a new device. One is certain. We will not know until someone will try this.
there is a micro-SD wifi card.
we don“t need an adapter!

OK now we only need someone who will risk and buy one of those and try if it is even detected by a kernel :P.
