I successfully updated to 76! Thanks to all!
No great differences to 74. CoPilot is xx.83.
Gui seems to be a little more reactiv. Record button is disabled,
when lid closed. (Best feature for me).

I used FlashKit to flash files.
You must use "modded-flashkit" to write to mtd4 without errors

Here are short description. Use modded FlashKit from below.

Supposed you successfully run flashkit, you are in mini-root and
the splitted 76-files are in /mmc/mmca1.

1. flashcp -v /mmc/mmca1/76_mtd4_kernel.bin /dev/mtd4
2. flashcp -v /mmc/mmca1/76_mtd5_rootfs.bin /dev/mtd5
- Verify may fail. Don't bother.
3. flashcp -v /mmc/mmca1/76_mtd6_setup.bin /dev/mtd6
- 74 and 76 setup is identical, so you may skip this step
4. flashcp -v /mmc/mmca1/76_mtd7_logo.bin /dev/mtd7
5. dd if=/mmc/mmca1/tffsa.dmp of=/dev/tffsa
- not included in splitted_780_fw
- be patient. there is no feedback. takes some time.
6. sync
7. You have to pull out battery to restart phone.

thank you jumit, with your help i was able to update my fw.
IM ist also new, i didnt have it before.
thanks to all guys who helped getting the fw and special thanks to the guy who dumped his fw and shared it.

@ evaldas: it would be also great, if you would produce a working *.shx file, because it would be much faster to reflash when your phone gets stuck

I *used* the tffsa.dmp from your post. (Thank you very much)

Nope , no change on DSP. Actually what we got till now is only a software upgrade and not the full firmware. That is not yet available.
But still the new software is worth some bug fixes. Until the complete new firmware is vailable we should be happy with that

Good work guys! I just successfully flashed mine. Voice recognition works again. Co-Pilot has been updated. Opera build is the same. IM client doesn't work. 74 didn't work for me either. This might just be my profile at yamigo.com.
