@siD: Could it be, that your start position is out of the map area? Do you have maps of your region? Do you get any menus, when you touch the screen?

oh, now it works.I must use boot_usb. What about maps? I do not have TomTom Go 300 but have TomTom on my PDA. Can I use this maps?
Hi, I just saw that wyrm has a new kernel image online on the openezx page. Has someone tested that with tomtom?
hi ... i am german. i have a a780 with a gps chip.. but i dont know how i can run the tomtom software...
can someone help me ?
1. Prepare the sdcard as discribed in post 8.
2. Boot this Kernel "zImage-2.6.24.1-ezxWM-20080217-a780" from VFat-Archive with goxboxlive bootloader "boot_usb". You doing this by putting your phone into bootloader mode and connect to usb port. After this type something like the following as root:
This is the fastest and realy easy method to try how it looks like or to test yourself integrated maps. However to make a real dualboot you need only to look at the first post and dig a bit deeper../boot_usb zImage-2.6.24.1-ezxWM-20080217-a780![]()

I successfully integrated other maps. However these were only from tomtom v6. I used "Tomtom PDA Deutschland Plus v652.1204"
This came as a cap file. When you extract this cap file you get one xml and many xxxxxx.001 ... files.
In the xml file you can find the real filenames of the many others.
Only rename them. Now you have a pna file it should look like
this:
There you see your version 652 and build=1204.Code:ID=DE_AT_and_CH_plus_major_roads_of_WE.pna 1059884981 652 build=1204 id=54456
Make a folder like the ID without the extention. And put all files in except the xml and .000 which is left.
Now copy the folder to the sdcard folder of /dev/sda1 on your flashcard.
Start tomtom and select the map. Now you need only to type the activation code in. Maybe before you want to change your device number. It is written on /dev/sda1/sdcard/ttgo.bif.
If you dont own a map activated for a specific device you can try to find a "TT6 Navigator and Go Keygen". And generate with your map.mid file and the DeviceUniqueID an activation key for an One/Go.
