how do i flash my a780?

ive searched and read faq but still cant grasp the full concept of it.

What programs are needed?
where do i find new firmware?
are there step by step instructions?

Read the FAQ huh? Well, there are two things wrong with this site.

One, Which FAQ? Apparently most views to this site have two buttons labelled "FAQ." However, one of them is a generic PHPBB FAQ and should have been immediately suspect.

Second, and most importantly, the FAQ is disorganized. There is a lot of general information applicable to all Linux phones in the overpopulated E680 and E680i categories, and picking it out from the truly specific information could become a chore.

Anyway, with that in mind, try reading the seemingly unapplicable "E680i" section of the FAQ, or try this link:

Hi, I install on windows PST 7.2.3 in
c:\programmi\Motorola\PST\
there is
MultiFlashFlex.exe
Select the firmware and attend.
If it is the first time there are installing any drivers during the flash, don't worry.

Ironically my first post. I have a e398 which i have flashed multiple times with different firmwares and monter packs. I just purchaed a a780 from ebay (yet to arrive) i think i should be able to flash it provided i find the flash files (*yea i will search)
I have a couple of questions.
1. Which firmware do u recommened and what are the benifits compared to the original that comes with a780
2. I have seen many people having problems with installing skins on a780. why is that, are they plain stupid or is it that difficult . Dont all skins shown in the skins section wotk with a780.

I recommend the latest and the greatest.

R52_G_0D.50.AHP_0D.41.B1P.shx (You can get this flex from the China Mobile flash. Flash this version first before flashing the above firmware.)
OPTIMIZED_SETUP_A780.shx (Search for this and it will list the enhancements.)
0032_0001-modded.seem (gives you EDGE back Search evaldas article on this seem edit)

They are just plain stupid. All the skins located in the download section for E680i/A780 work with the A780. All the skins in the "Skins" section of this forum may work if they are for the E680i/A780. E680 skins DO NOT work.

Which one should i flash and in which order. I really need a better opera and if possible larger email size than 1 mb, cause i use these functions a lot plus comming from e398 , i really miss the sound. to what extend does these flash increase the sound volume ?
