i set nothing on freeproxy. just start the service, connect leobtppp, tap mackbtinet, start opera, tap mackbtuninet, and it works

but i guess, as pnail mentioned, with pand, you can just bridge the btlan and your lan to make it work

yantz, are u sure youre not using gprs by accident?
you have to at least forward port 80 in fireproxy because windows is not gonna do it for you by itself.. or is it???

i dont know what pand is but thats something running on the phone right? and not on the pc?

    anyway,
i found this cool program that does also do NATand the free version supports up to 2 connections so thats well enough unless you have more than 2 phones.
    its called inet shaper:
    http://inetshaper.com/setup_2k_xp.exe

i havent gotten the NATworking yet but thats just a matter of time i guess.
I will post directions here as soon as i have figured it out.

    pnail, happy now?
btw, i already did a little contribiting by figuring out how to reset the copilot
software without hard resetting the whole phone
(resetting the whole phone was the only way to reset the copilot software according to the software manufacturer... yeah right...)
you can get anything you want at alices restaurant

Have you got bridging up on WinXP? I guess WinXP doesn't allow bridging for dialups (ppp) but only for LANs. I run a freeproxy on WinXP but I need to tunnel individual ports in there. Can you please share the steps you followed on WinXP (and update Wiki as well so that others don't have to [read n try]+ )?
I enable routing on windows XP Pro(Use google for a registry hack to enable routing on XP Pro)

Then I add persistent route to 10.0.0.0 in my XP (route add -p 10.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 192.168.1.4)

In our DSL router/gateway(uses NAT) i also add route to 10.0.0.0

I don't need proxy since our network uses NAT to access internet

I think this will not work if you pass through a proxy to connect to internet

Sorry but I dont know how to update WIKI

forgot to mention, i created a dummy gprs setting to a dummy apn with ip set to pc ip and port 8080 and select that profile for opera. and the default settings in freeproxy for proxy service is 8080 so i just start the service without altering its settings.

(the file is just a text file w/ a dummy .gz extension so that i could attach it; do not use gunzip, simply remove the extension)
