So the upshot seems to be that :
1) The new firmware fixes the daylight savings time calendar synch problem - which has nearly made the phone worthless to me since I bought it in July

2) Copilot can be loaded if you configure your flash correctly - and those of us that live in the UK can probably get maps

3) We might lose Edge - but again, living in the UK that's not really much of a problem...

Did I summarize that correctly?

Future_Shock, depends on what phone you have. If you have older than 74 european phone that supposed to be gps/edge version, after flashing R52_G_0D.74.A2R_0D.C0.B1P gps must still be there.
If you care about edge, try editing 0032_0001 seem as described in other thread.
