i purchased a new battery after 2 years.
i have to charge my mobile every night
(maybe it is because of heavy use)
Hi! I'v been using A780+ for more than a year now, and I everything about it (except the shitty Copilot software, which doesn't provide maps)
Lately I think that my battery is getting drained far too fast... Usually I need to recharge it every day, but I don't think that this is normal. Sometimes after I unplug the charger, the battery indicator instantly shows that the battery isn't totally full, although I charged it for like 6 hours.
Is there a known problem with the phone that can cause this, or should I change my battery?? ( I do have 3 more batteries, cuz I have 3 other motorola's in my familly, but these batteries aren't new either)

my battery can stand for 2 days. normal usage. call, answering, listen to few songs. testing. but heavy usage, 1 day. using rockbox, few hours only.

Anyone tried the 1000mAh batteries available - would you trust them? Do they last longer?
I have a replacement battery (according to the label for a Motorola V500/V525), which is rated 1250mAh. It doesn't last any longer: 2 days max, with 70% of the time in flight mode.
So: battery life sucks. Motorola claims something like 180 hours (more than a week), but in real life it doesn't come close.
After using the car charger battery life is even worse: 1 day if you're lucky.

my battery also lasts only one day, but it might be a charging problem actually...a few times I charged it only for 3-4 hours (rather than all night, as usual) and the battery lasted a couple days...I've also got to be very careful when I move it so that the charging doesn't stop...the contacts on the usb plug might be bad? I'll try taking it apart one of these days and see if it's repairable... I don't have enough cash for a TyTn2 yet ^^
The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners.
