Thanks a lot Nobita, it works fine for me, I just had a problem with the firmware version, I mean after flash the phone the camera stops working, I'm thinking to downgrade the version. Anyway thanks a lot

I could not find pst that works. The stuff i find in google doesn't work either. I decided to take the risk since my phone has been receiving the same sms message over and over again. I will be flashing to the latest asian version.

any link will do I found one here but my antivirus deletes one of the files as it says its a virus. I was able to install but it does not work. I found a link for 7.11 but it only downloads 1KB (even with DAP installed). could you please point me to a working link with patches and cracks.

I have found some firmware on my hdd marked as asian but i dont know if there are all asian.

Sorry I just realized I posted in the wrong area.

updating successful the pst update still had a trojan detected disabled my anti virus, it worked.

i'll be reporting back after testing it, maybe next week.

Here is my initial impressions on the firmware:
first, I don't like the new splash screen it is red and has China mobile all over it. I think its because I've grown accustomed to the gray and blue colors of my original fw. The color I think is inappropriate for the color of the phones body. Although its no biggie since you can change the color scheme of the phone, the icons are a different color (red and yellow doesn't appeal to me that much)

The firmware has no difference from my old firmware except for a few extra application from China mobile, most of it for their service menus and some games in chinese characters which I don't understand.

The problem I have for the slow calendar is still apparent including my problem with slow searching for my contacts which is around 375 and the calendar is around 80 which contains no schedules aside from birthdays. Had no problems yet aside from these, I will be reporting back if I experience the multiple sms received problem that I had before, which manifests itself when I have accumulated a thousand sms messages, sometimes around 500 sms and the latest it was only 380 messages. And if i find any improvement.
