Is Anyone able to find away to get Ring & Vibe On this phone

I've Been Trying With No Luck...

Definately Think This Is Feature This Phone Is Lacking...

If This Can Be Done Let Me Know How - Or Provide A Link

I've found the ring tones config table location,

with a little work we should be able to get Ring & Vibe working

i started by downloading the ring loud and vibrate file,

then changed the extension to .txt format, then compared this to the rest of the ring style config files, but have been able to successfully upload my modified version for testing...

this is the location \\169.254.142.2\system\usr\language\alertstyle

can anyone contribute to finding a solution... i'm stuck here...

is it at all possible to create a new config file for ring and vibe thereby allowing the phone to ring and vibe simultaniously...

if there is anyone who needs someone to test any developments on this i'm willing...

i think it's impossible. because afaik most of motor!@#%a phones can't ring and vibrate at the same time.
there's another workaround. i have already written program to control vibrator. the only thing left is to make it execute when there's incoming call. will finish some day later.

If you have a program controlling /dev/vibrator, could you please post a link to it ? It'll be useful.

i think we can make use of the development by mudassar and cytux titled "sms spam filter..." to intercept incoming calls, and then execute the vibrator? at the same time, alertprocess should also be running, playing the tones.

another possibility we could go from here is to make a customised caller id? perhaps we can take an example from cyph's opie proxy to pop up a larger images and buttons?
