Thread: Is that a fake?

  1. #1

    Angry Is that a fake?

Ive just get my Motorola A1800 from ebay...and it seems, that it is a fake! It feels cheap, the buttons are on wrong positions and the OS is totaly different! No gps, no 3mp Camera , even if there is a 3mpg sign on the back of the phone? Now i need clarity about that case, because iam shortly before to go to law. There is no Letters which say that this phone is an Motorola. Even in the description the word "Motorola" doesnt exist. Iam thankfull for every help...

The Case is an A1800 Case, right. The GPS is at the Place where the Battery is. The Mobile must be really thick. Like a thumb

But what about the buttons, they lock different in all reviews ive read, and are on different places around the phone? in this phone there is no gps and the camera is limited to vga! The cover is darker than in the original and the letters on the package say INVENTS (actually on my phone there are no letters at all). The cover says further it should exist in 3 different colors? So it is no Motorola A1800, right? Or does there exist more than one Version?

Yeah , I get the feeling that the phone looks real dull with an incomplete ''M'' logo on the battery.Must be fake!

Moreover before going to the law, see if the phone has got an IMEI number.
If not , that will make your case stronger!

*Type in *#06# in diapad for the IMEI.

Definently a fake, the sticker on the battery cover is a dead givaway. It's the same sticker on most of the iPhone clones from China. Probably only dual band 900/1900. Good looking clone though.
