Problem with phonebook and sms in a1800

Hi, i am trying to open phonebook or sms's in a1800, but have problems. It says 'Reading Card, Please Wait'. And - nothing.

When i try to open phonebook in Mobile Tools it says 'Error while reading contacts from phone'.

Can someone advice?

Hum... Reading Card?
All SMS and Contacts are save on phone and/or sim. So I think your phone can't read from the SIM-Card.
Do you use the second slot for your simcard?

Yes, i've tryed to use it with GSM & CDMA cards. The problem was in CDMA card. I've changed it to another operator's RUIM and everything work fine.

I bought it and I regret it

No java, no additional applications, no USSD for GSM network, terrible document viewer, weak camera. It is remove + sighn from GSM numbers - need to add manual.

Have not tested browser and email - have no time to tests.

mp3 player is fine.

hi, what do you mean by it remove + sign ?

so when i put numbers in phone book with + sign, it removes automatically when i call that number ?
