Why is the A1800 taken off the Motorola sites?

Does any one knows why the A1800 is no longer listed in the hongkong site or Chinese site of Motorola?

But you can still buy them I just bought one yesterday .

why crap? I have the A1200 and this one is very very similar. ok it's a little bit thicker but I guess that's because of the GPS.

I've bought 2 A1800s on Ebay from a guy in Chicago $310.00 for one & @315.00 for the other. Has extra battery, 1 gig micro SD with Chinese maps & 5.0 Phone Tools disk.
Took forever to get the 850 Mhz turned on & not real sure how we did it lots of feature settings we could not change. Don't know how to read Chinese All help would be appreciated. Will be a great phone if we can get it to work like the A1600. Have not got a SIM card for CDMA not many in US that use one as far as I know.

yes it is realy cheap. I confirm that in China the lowest price is about 520 USD. However in the official shops the price is around 730 USD and there is no way to get it cheaper for the moment. (just got back a week ago)

It is not similar. Other Firmware, other Software, no java, no mpkg... it is crap. Can't install software or upgrade the GPS maps, cause the company who made them, only have maps for china.
I paid 600€ for it... wasted money.
I have A1200, to and like it much more.

i have had this phone, and although it has some awsome features, it is so geared for business and for china's networks, it is not that great for use in the states, so i sold it and bought an a1600 which is really a great phone, which i think has many more features the average joe would appreciate and use. the a1800 is just too business oriented for a guy like me. i, like dodad, bought both my a1800 and my a1600 from buyitnowboy on ebay and had great service, great price, and very fast shipping. he is an honest ebay seller that i recommend buying from.
