Ok I flashed my a1600 with the R542.11.60.53P firmware and now its not charging. A red light comes on behind the end button which is the power button. When I try to reflash... I get an error message, the phone turns on.... it starts to charge only to go through the same cycle again. What can I do to fix this problem????

@hibrydsoul
can u explain little more waht happens to ur mobile
Try to charge it for at least 30 minutes. it's not important if you can not see any action.
We barely remember what came before this precious moment
@shantanu When I first got the phone. It had problems charging.... I'd take the battery out slightly or sort of nudge downwards to properly connect with the pins for it to start charging.... 3 weeks ago I had changed my theme on it.... it worked fine for 3 days then I was unable to access the phone via the touchscreen. It acted as tho it had a virus. My solution? to flash the phone to fix this problem.... big mistake. At first it looked as tho the problem of the touchscreen going haywire was rectified, then as I'm reinstalling my theme... I noticed the battery indicator stayed empty in red and it was flashing.... well thats what it does when its charging.... but... it was like that for 40 mins... I should at least seen one bar in the indicator at that time. As soon as I unplugged the phone.... and replugged it. it did not come on.... instead.... a red light behind the end button came on.
dude take another battery from ur friend and then try to flash it
Figured out the problem..... the red light behind the power button comes on when the battery is totally dead. It takes roughly about 10 to 15 mins (depending on how long the battery's been dead) for the phone to finally respond in charging mode. No big deal after all. Sorry for taking so long re: this thread.
Hi, i really hope someone is able to help me out with this problem we've been facing with our A1600.
My husband purchased it about a yr ago but hasnt been able to use it for long.he mainly bought it because of the quadband feature since he travels a lot and due to some high recommendations by some friends.
For 4mnths after we bought it,it worked fine. now it charges when charged but as soon as the phone is taken of the chrger and tried to switch on the backlight turns completely red with a msg saying
BP_NOT_READY
Boot Module:
BOOT_G_00.02.57P_DYD
MBM FLASH MODE
BAT TRICKLE CHRG DISABLED
Does this mean that the battery is dead and needs a new battery?when trying to switch off nothing happens till the battery is removed.we have already serviced it 5times but it always came back as no problem,its working fine!!
Please help!!
