MobileGMaps uses Microsoft Maps with the A1200 GPS and 8Motions uses Google Maps with the GPS. They download the maps via GPRS but locate your current position via your GPS. Therefore you can get the GPS working with maps anywhere that Microsoft/Google maps show (90% of the world?... Must surely be More if New Zealand is shown?)

Hi Dehoyosmer,

Did you follow the instructions for...

Using internal gps in europe ?

It is important to install MGMaps 8Motions or other GPS enabled software to the SD card and to edit the registry file as per the instructions. Must then set the permissions to "never ask". I Always had the please zoom out graphic also ... untill I followed the above instructions.

Did you change the Registry file to "Allowed" (from forbidden I think) "1" (from 0) and "Manufacturer" (from unknown)
