    Default Problems with A1200i

    Hi

After installing new themes on A1200i, i cannot turn the phone on, the phone just freezes on the start screen. I`ve already tried to remove the battery, the sim card but nothing happens, I cannot reach the menu to perform a Master Reset.

Does anyone knows what is happing and how do solve it?Is that another way to reset the phone?

    Thanks,
    Rogerio

You need to reflash your phone. See the warnings on themes thread.

    Hi Dedraks.
Is it possible that any physical component of A1200 can be destroyed during Reflash?

    Thanks again,
    Rogerio

rtetenge dn't worry friend : flashing doesn't effect your physical component>

read the stick on flashing properly and choose your firmware wisely

well.. flashing will make your flash chip wear out, its a kind of physical damage.
It is dependent on the chip, but generally you are safe until the 10.000 flash erase proccess.
Just dont flash your phone every 15 minutes.. If you flash once a day you can consider it safe on the first 25 years.

Last week I flashed my phone up to 5 times on a day.
    7*5=35.
    10.000 - 35 = 9.965
I still can flash my phone 9.965 times. heheheheheh

Hello again.... Dedraks, Gurneek, Hidr0, Joao Rodrigo I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your help.

Well just to let you know, today I returned to Motorola´s costumer support and they told me that I have to replace the phone´s main board for just U$300,00, but they cannot give me any warranty, even with replacement, cause my phone is a A1200 model can you believe?

I found a tutorial about flashing here on MorolofaFans, this is the one you used? is that any other website where I can find information about flashing?

I promisse Wyrm that I will not flash my phone every 15 min. hehehehe

    Thanks a lot guys
