No, you can talk about that here.. I did not know you had a locked phone. If it bothers you why dont you sell it and buy an unlocked version? how much does it run for in your country?

In stores (A1200i), BRL1300-1500 inc all types of taxes (USD 650-750). I paid BRL1499 (paid in 3 times, hehe) for mine in FNAC, and FNAC in Brazil is an expensive store.

Via MercadoLivre (associated with eBay, hehe), you can get A1200 much cheaper - BRL800-1000 (USD 400-500)

I bought mine for US$400,00 here in my town (BR one A1200i, not imported) three months ago... i wanna sell it to buy an E6!

Is the E6 more expensive? should be around the same price.

here in india there is a diffrence of 30-35 usd..
dunno its less compared in usa but here its big diffrenece...

hey gurneek as far as i know the difference is more than 35 usd (rupee is at al all time high around 41rs per dollar) the difference is atleast 2000+ rupees right?? so ots around 45-50 dollars (rough estimate)

Yes.. it is a little more... but in Brazil this difference is bigger, we can find A1200 for US$400 and 450... and the E6 for US$750...
I wanna switch to an E6 coz i got a talk with EAKRIN... and he was sayin' me what's better in E6... he said Firmware structure is different, where user can FLASH only one part of it to improve new features... he explained to me, in an example, that i can put a portuguese laguage pack from A1200i in my E6 and it will work fine... The E6 has better moddin' capabilities than ming. He said also that it's processor is faster, battery life and multimaedia quality (sound & video) are superior... and that is, abviously, better to play GBA at E6 than at ming...
So... i'll do it guys... but i'll still here!!!!

Processor is actually the same, and imo the A1200 is faster in some areas. Gaming is a little bit smoother on the E6.

Good go rally up the e6 people. They are alot calmer then you guys.

So... maybe you're using an higher exchange rate, like USD 1=BRL 2,40? hehehe

Sure, I looked high and low and even in brick-and-mortar shops and haven't found an A1200i costing less than BRL 1200.
