How to run MPKG with .25p firmware?

I believe my firmware is .25p.
how can i run MPKG as in the sticky it says it might not be supported

also, when I have the USB cable connected I don't see any mass storage drive on my computer.

i don't like creating multiple threads, but can anyone help?
i am a complete newbie.

i have MPT connected via modem.

But how do I access my SD card?
MPKG is not supported for .25p, is it?
if it is, how can I install it? It says I need to be in Mass Storage mode, but if I am, I don't see my virtual drive.

don't worry even if u have .25p fw is not bad>

if u want to explore ur SD on comp put ur phn in mass storage mode not modem.....

For me .25p is very good,the only thing I don't like is that you can't use startup.txt.
