MotoMing A1200e : lovely phone!

hellooo world,
Just got me yesterday a brand new A1200e and i like it very much
but after reading this forum i began experimenting with the linux thing with
the themes/skins on this forum.
question:
-how to display the firmware version on my MotoMing phone?
-i cannot get the MPKG appl to load the lin file (tried many times )

i am excited to get this thing going...any secrets?
