gprs help...

hi, i had 46p b4 gprs worked f9...recently i upgraded to 48p (china mobile) i can no longer acess gprs the icon always shows grey color even if i am in a gprs covered area i am sure my carrier has gprs bcoz i have tried my sim on other phnes and gprs works gr8 on them plz help...how can i get gprs to work....

why you dont try to enable EDGE... theres a guide posted here

I flashed to 08p generic and then realized that the G icon was always Grayed out. I called my service provider as well (air-tel Delhi) but they weren't able to help as well.
Funny part is that when I tried to connected to the internet, I could connect! So since then, I have a Gray G icon and I connect to the internet without any trouble.

So try if you can connect, hope it works for you as well.
