I Have Firmware 8p, Whats the best Firmware for my MING???

This is the first time I'm going to change the firmware( I have 8p), and i want to make the best choice. Can someone recommend the best one in: picture, internet, less problems? Thanks

new user here
need some help/info
my a1200 shows firmware as R532H2_G_11.20.12P
i think its a 12p version
i did not find any info for this version
is this a generic version?
can i flash to any other version?

wollybyte, you have the latest H2 series generic firmware. It's best if you don't flash it

H2 series generic 08P is one of the most popular firmware currently available your 12P most likely is the updated/bug fixed version of 08P

Also, if you don't mind, can you help us out by doing a couple simple test?

1. go to setting -> world time -> change your location to any US cities like Houston or New York, can you see if there is a little sun symbol appear next to the time after the change inside world clock?
(trying to determine if 12p has the updated daylight saving time date range)

2. go to setup -> sync, can you tell me how many option you have inside the sync option? Is it just OTA or are there more options?
(trying to find out of activesync is supported on 12P)

About the wishlist:
(1) I didn't see the DST feature on 12P
(2) Sync is still thru OTA only

i tried your tests but..

Sync is just OTA no other options,
No sun symbol appeared after changing location to Houston
