i am using a magnetic pouch myself..no problem at all.
An older thread on the same topic had a few people mention that the magnet messed up their screen.
Personally, I cut out the magnets on my case and stitched on some velcro.

Alot of people have complained but me personally... I have never run into a problem with my leather case. I have been very happy with my case.

Yeah, there is an old topic about this issue.
But I recently had a problem with a case!![]()
I bought a fake Hugo Boss mag pouch (I was at the beach and forgot my regular case). I guess the magnet on the case was too strong (or waving weird magnetic fields) and it affected the flip sensor. When I put the phone in or get it out of the case, the screen lights and the phone 'thinks' the flip is open. On that old topic, some people had the same issue... and some of them had their lcd screens damaged (the image was upside down).
I'm using 2 mag cases now, no problems with them (a fake Motorola and a Krusell).
But if you're having strange behavior of your phone when it's near the magnets of your case, buy another one.
I have a Milante magnetic case. Whenever the earpiece on the flip gets near the magnet the screen turns on. I have also noticed that my bluetooth H700 constantly connects and disconnects from the phone while in the case. If I just put it (the phone) in my pocket, the problem goes away.
When connected to my HT820 stereo headset, the bluetooth connection doesnt seem to have any problems while in the case until I skip several tracks using the controls on the headset - then it disconnects.
Thats my input for the subject

Hi, the problem is that the Ming uses a small magnet in the flip so it can know when the flip is open or not. The magnets in some cases confuse this function.

Hey Alphajust been really busy and the phone is doing everything I want for now so haven't been around the forums much. It's good to see some of the regulars are still around though.
