T-mobile internet help --A1200

Hi,
I just got the motorola A1200 and added the T-mobile tzones internet. I cant seem to connect and i've tried the following GPRS settings

Primary IP: 216.155.165.050
Port: 8080
APN name: wap.voicestream.com


My previous phone (sony ericsson s700) could connect to the internet as well as my work email without any problems....

must I wait a day for T-mobile since I added the internet option this morning? Any other help would be great. Thanks.

i also had T-mobile send me the settings based on the motorola v3 since the a1200 is not listed on their site. Is this okay?

yes, if you had T-mobile send you the websessions to your phone based on the V3 that should work - worked for me. make sure you delete all your other websessions that came with the phone. You will most likely never use those and it eliminates confusion.

help my phone is now dead. I just got it yesterday and the sales rep told me to use it until the battery died and then charge it full. It's charging now ( i think...how can you tell) but i cannot turn the phone on and i cant tell if its properly charging.

Remove the battery for about ten minutes then put it back in. Try again...

Turns out the charger they gave me doesnt work. My phone only charges in the car or through the USB. arg.....

i got my internet working btw but have yet to figure out setting up work's outlook email on my phone.

for email, I use pop mail settings but if at work you might have an exchange setting to add. might work with your "sync" icon in your menu as that is what that one is for - exchange sync over the air. Cool feature but I dont have exchange mail...
