Earlier I think that such barcode in the Europe, now I doubt. In Russia square-barcode are not present.

they are used on for quick access to web sites and quick dispersing of personal information.

This bar-code reader does not read normal bar-codes - but rather 2 dimensional barcodes called QR-codes. In the United States, some stores and ads in some magazines use them. The idea is that you can wave your bar-code reader at the code and capture information about the product (make,model) as well as a web-page to get more information (and vendors hope then buy the product). It has really not caught on as not may people have devices that can read the code yet!!! It sounds like they may be more common in China and Japan because more phones have the QR reader.

but one simple question cant i have just the software without being flash the fone to 59p.
one more ....out of topic.....i downloaded mp3 player and a bass boost software from e680 download section\a780 ,,the files being in .lin and .pkg should have worked ,right.
any ideas how to make it work.

I think UPS uses these type barcodes too. Look at a UPS label next time you get a shipment.
