How to edit code in Linux thru a1200 phone for app changes

Hi,

I am new a1200 phone user... I dont know linux and I am going to learn Linux... please let me know how to start up with linux in a1200 phone

Do we require any server in phone how it will connect to Linux OS from the phone..

do we need internet for this feature

Please help me I am a novice Linux person

You need to read through the telnet thread up in the stickies, if you arnt familiar with linux at all you might want to try the windows steps so you know what is supposed to happen with the phone then go from there.
