    Hi alpha
I just got a ming couple of days back.it was the looks that convinced me to buying this.0pls help me at some of the problems i face

1- i find the ear speaker volume too low, only when the surrounding noise is low am i able to hear the speakers voice.is it a normal problem with the model or is it specific to my phone?is there any way to increase this volume?

2- call answer setting is such that when the flip is opened the incoming call is connected.under this setting is it possible to ignore the incoming call(disconnect the incoming call) without opening the flip?(i tried with the smart keys at the sides of the phone, but dint work....all i could do was press the volume key and mute the ringing alert, couldnt cut the call )

please reply to my questions at the earliest...

    regards
    amit

    Hello,

What firmware do you have on your A1200? Some firmwares fix the volume levels.

As for ignoring phone calls without opening the phone, unfortunately its not possible.. Sorry

@amit.yatheesh - Thank you for your kind words!

@shalabh - Please read the guide to flashing your A1200 for additional details.

    To check your firmware verson..

Go to your Dial Pad and dial: WWW008W. To make the W tap the menu button at bottom left while in the dial pad, then select insert-->insert wait to make the W .

I am also finding the the earpeice volume is a little low. my firmware is on R532c2_g_11.31.25P
I'm not really sure what this means or how to determine if this is a newer or older firmware. Some advice would be much appreciated.

If its really an issue with you then try updating to a newer firmware, but make sure you read the instructions very carefully.

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

What type of memory card are you using? What company is it from?

You can try to format it to see if it reads it.
