A1200 Help! VC info

I picked up a A1200 the other Day, and it works GREAT, wicked awesome.

I'm on the Fido network, for some reason, after i put my sim into the A1200 I lost the ability to recieve calls from anyone else on my network.

Whenever someone on the Fido netowrk calls it just rings then goes to VM, however any landline or other mobile can call and it will go through.

I have checked the phone over for a block list of some such nothing.

I took my sim out and placed it into another A1200, and took the other sim and placed it in my phone, MY sim continued to have the same problem, yet the other sim worked fine.

I did a simswap, as it might have been that mine was outdated.

nothing.

Then i took it to a tech, he said to do a master reset, that was done and nothing has changed except that all of my voice command functions are lost. my phone won't read msg's oh do any voice recognition.

I realize after troubleshooting that it has to be the network as far as the recieving calls go...

however, after the phone was reset...i can't seem to get the voice commands back, please if ANYONE knows how to retrive that information, please let me know.

i reinstalled my firmware and they DID NOT appear. i have confirmed the language settings as well.

Any ideas please let me know.

Hi, I'm on Fido too. I cant help with your call problem but with the Voice Control go into settings/Language and change it from automatic to English. That should restore your VC.

Edit: I just reread your post and you said you confirmed your language settings so I guess my solution wasn't it sorry.
