CV144 - I confirmed that your seemedit is working...I flashed back to the original seemfile today and the auto-adjust time feature is no longer available...so GOOD WORK!
I guess the bad news is that EDGE doesn't work=(
Great work cv144, as soon as I have some time I'm looking forward to trying this out. It would be a big breakthrough if this leads to us being able to enable Edge support. What I don't understand is how you know which value's to edit.
Grant.

Can someone explain why EDGE (if even included in the current A1200 hardware) wasn't turned on? In other words, why would Motorola disable it for the Chinese market?
— Is there EDGE in China?
— Are they planning to price descriminate with an A1200 variation that includes newer software? (I saw a GPS bundled one somewhere on this site)
— Are there FCC/licensing issues?
— It seems that solving the problem didn't work using the exact same solution as with the A780 [or whichever]... Can someone summarize the struggle with that model?
It just seems rediculous for Motorola to make this such a pain for their loyal customers.
Yeah, that's the version I downloaded. When I install it, it brings up a commad prompt window and then scrolls a ton of stuff for a minute or 2. Then I start it and it asks for the type of phone technology and how I want to connect. Then it just sits and does nothing, with nothing in the taskbar.Originally Posted by cv144

I think you may have downloaded RSD, not Radiocom. Copy and paste the link I posted on the first message.Originally Posted by kruejl
Thank you CV144 for introducing us to RadioComm. Now for all non-46p users, here's the solution to get rid of that annoying voicemail text message. You need to do the following seemedit:
Element ID: 0032
Record #: 0001
Offset: 0002
Length: 0001
Using CVV144's approach with RadioComm v10.3.1, change the current value from 89 to 8B. I confirmed that this fixes the VM text message problem in 53p China Mobile version.
FYI...for those who like to experiment...here's a list of possible seem edits. The original list was designed for V series phones, but we have found that at least some of those edits work with the A1200.

BTW, you can just enter the offset value as listed in the doc above without any numerical conversion. Afterwards, use XVI32 to figure out what the bit manipulation translates to in HEX and enter it in radiocomm.
Experiment at your own risk and have fun!
Excellent work guys! Keep it up!
How about someone seeing if they can do a seem edit to use an actual animated wallpaper as the background and also keeping the screen on longer after the flip is closed?
BTW...to enable auto time update...here's what CV144 did:
Element ID: 0032
Record #: 0001
Length: 0001
Offset: 0000 - Change value from D6 to D7
Offset: 0055 - Change value from 68 to 6C
Now can we find out how to take PROVIDERS NAME (t-mobile, cingular etc...) off from the main screen?
