    Its cool.

Do: WWW008W to see what firmware you're on. (w = insert wait) on your phone keypad.

V- So I decided that I couldn't wait until tomorrow and decided to do it at home.
Now bear in mind this is on a completely different PC, with newly installed Drivers, Latest MPT, and the Firmware that you sent me.

    SAME RESULT!!

Now this is starting to annoy me a little. What exactly is so special about my phone that I can't seem to flash this sucker. What R your thoughts??

All is good. I came home and flashed my phone again with a full battery, and it works again. No more blank texts when I check my voicemail, and it even says I am in the cingular network here at home. It nevr did that before. One thing I did notice, the voice commands button doesn't do anything any more. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I had the same error message that buster did, but all seems to be good with my phone. I did the WWW08W and it seems to show that I have 44p and 46p. Is this correct?

V - just to confirm...Did you say that you were able to flash a phone with my firmware on it and upgrade it to 46P with no issues?
I'm just trying to isolate the source of the issues. If you were able to do it, then perhaps the issue lies with my Super-File, and not with a compatibility issue between the 2 firmwares.
If that's the case, then I may need to somehow reinstall the Super-File - although I have no idea what it is, or where to get another clean copy of it for my phone.
    What do you think?

    Actually,

I had someone try out a firmware with the H2 track and they had 46p, they were able to flash to .06p and reflash back to 46p without any issues on the first try.

So I dont know if your phone is missing something. Im trying to figure out what this "super file" is that its looking for??

I had the same thought, that the firmwares were not cross compatiable, but they are, so there's something else going on.

The computers you're using are all up to date with all the sevice paks etc right? You've also tried the USB switch and all the other little tricks that we've said?

Tell me what applications you have on your phone (in the apps screen)

Yeah, my PC's are all up to date running XP Pro with all the latest patches and such...
I've tried not only switching the USB port, as well as the cable, but I've tried this on 2 completely different PC as well. Still the same result.

As for my apps, I haven't really added anything yet, so here's a list of what is currently on the phone...
Setup, Calls, Email, Calender, Tasks, Notes, Calculate, Alarm, File Manager, Browser, Player (Real), Camera, Recorder(Voice), Video, Photo Editor, Modem, Bluetooth, Sync, STK, Time, Viewer, Help, BCR, FM Radio, and Mflash Player.

Now here's a question...If you have your hands on the .06 firmware of the H2 track, can you tell me if it fix'es any of the know issues with the phone (i.e. blank message, etc.)? If it does, maybe I should try flashing to that firmware just to see if it works....

Why dont you try to uninstall rsd lite and install version 2.8 ( i posted it on this thread on page 1) And reinstall all those drivers.. Maybe there is a missing file. Try that out and let us know.
and its not windows.. Because i dont have any of the service updates on my xp and it works fine. So thats not the issue.
