Is RSD Lite 3.2 a beta version or a full version and do you recommend 3.2 for flashing? And btw how do I open the .08p firmware it's a .gz file?

Where did you d.l 08p? The file should be a .sbf file... Try renaming the file extention to .sbf and see if rsd lite now reads it. 3.2 is full version

gz means gnuzip. You can uncompress it with winrar for example.

I am getting the super file error as well, my phone is totally wiped of all apps, I bought it in Edmonton, Canada.

I have tried flashing twice now with the same results, the phone came with 06P?

    Heeelllllp!

    Thankx,

So I flashed it directly without letting it ask for the drivers first, I'm thinking this is bad, but it has updated to 08 with volume gain, after that it started asking for drivers through rsd 2.8 so I installed them one by one but wasnt paying attention as it semmed to cycle through the various drivers more than once, and it was turning off the phone then I was promted to install the drivers and rsd would tell me to maually restart the phone as exiting the program may have damaged the phone or so it said.

Anyways it seems to be working, do you think I should redo the process? how do I know if the phone has all the neccesary drivers? If it updated the firmware like it says should it be alright?

    thankx

Well that isnt your firmware, thats just your boot information. To get your firmware, dial WWW008W on the dial pad, To make the W hit the menu button, Insert, insert wait for the W

I would leave it for now, but if anything acts up then repeat the flash process.
