EDIT: I still cannot get the phone to go into MBM mode I've tried rsd 2.6 2.7 2.8 and 3.0'

maybe its a sign that my phone really doesnt wana be flashed

I seem to be missing something. Where do I get the file for the firmware? I would like to install 46P to get rid of the blank e-mail message problem with voicemail.

i think I have everything else I need to flash it but I have NO idea where to get the firmware file.

please help!

its here on the board. Go to the thread that says something like "early release of 46p" There is a link in there.

It took several tries, but I just finally updated my firmware from 44p to 46p. I'm really hoping that took care of the voicemail bug. Thing is, I can't bring up my T-mobile network now. I made sure the antenna was turned on and have restarted the phone several times and removed the battery for a while, but it still just keeps endlessly searching. Is there somewhere I can input "automatic" for a network search- I can't seem to find where to do so.

to get signal again go to the dial pad, menu button, setup, network setup, menu button, search setup, band -> put it on 850/1900.. After that close all those things and you should have service again. Once you get your service back.. Repeat the steps and put it on automatic again.

Okay I finally got my network back. Turning the phone on and off didn't seem to help, but doing the same with the antenna did

Okay I have a different question. 46p is working very well for me- love not having the blank voicemail message. One thing that isn't right is the time and date. I am using T-mobile US and assume with my old firmware the network automatically updated to the correct time and date. Is there a setting somewhere that I can tell the phone to auto update with or a place I can input this manually?

Duh! Figured out I can use the World Time application to set my local time manually.

I'm unable to unrar these files with 2.8.
I get the message "The file is either in unkown format or damaged".
Is this a problem on my end or are the files corruppt?
